My 3 year old son gets so sad when he can't help make cakes. I give him extra cupcakes and icing when I can and he loves it. The bottom picture is his version of Elmo - he is so proud of it and says none of the kids are daycare area allowed to eat his Elmo :)

Thank goodness I read that your son made the bottom cupcake. I thought it was done by you at llpm after a keg of wine!
