You may recall a couple of weeks ago I had mentioned purchasing the supplies to make a beer bottle mold. All the supplies arrived, I bought some beer and made a silcone mold from a beer bottle. Making the mold was the easy part. Learning how to work with isomalt (sugar)is a little more challening.
This is my first peice of work with sugar. I am pretty happy with how it came out for the first attempt. I don't have the ebible printer yet, but it will be coming soon. Once I add edible labels it should look that much better.

I watched this tutorial, thought it looked cool! You did a great job on this, it looks so real! Ooh, an edible printer...I'm drooling.
Lorrinda, I have been eyeing up these bottles since I started cake decorating. When I seen that video and easy he made it look I had to give it a go. It's a bit of work but now that I have my mold it should get easier each time :)
Julie, do I understand you correctly? Is the whole bottle edible or is it a real bottle?
The bottle is edible....you may have sore teeth after eating :) It tastes like the coating on a candy apple.
Wow!
