Thank you ladies for another great workshop. All of your cakes turned out excellent. I bet there were some happy kids at school yesterday thanks to those Mom's that made these cakes for the end of school parties.
Great job ladies, they all look like a real bucket of popcorn!

Happy Canada Day
I know I am a couple of days early, but I am taking a few days off over the weekend and will be trying to contain myself from using a computer.
These are some simple cookies I made up for all the kids to enjoy on Canada Day. I might just need to snap a picture of all of them with red tongues after eating them.

A busy day of cake decorating
Today was first. I had 3 cakes all go out today.....wow am I tired. Hoping that everyone has fun celebrating all the birthdays this weekend.
This cake is for 2 little girls celebrating their birthdays at the same party. I was asked to make a girly cake using pink and purple. So this is what I came up with.
This cake is for a guy that loves Scuba Diving. I had a lot of fun doing this cake and don't want to let this one go. I hope he enjoys it as much as I do.
This cake is for a young girl that is going to the movies with some friends for her birthday party.

For all you fashion ladies out there
I was finally able to be a participant at a workshop rather then instructing one, and I had so much fun. I was thrilled when Sweet Cakers offered this workshop and I signed up instantly to learn how to make this fun purse cake. I now have so many ideas for other designs, so when I get the chance I will make some other samples up, and maybe some kid versions as well.

Mickey Mouse
This was a cake made for a little guy turning 1. I used the stars to spell out his name. Since Mickey is a copyrighted character I just used his colours to design the cake and he is a figure that was added on.
I got to use my new cricut for the first time as well to make the star so that was fun to finally be able to play. The cake is vanilla with banana filling.

World Cup Fan
This was a 3D Soccer Ball cake for an Italian man that has found himself loving the world cup recently. His birthday party is tonight and all the decor is soccer balls and world cup items, so I am sure he will love it.
